The initiative, led by the Mental Health Foundation and recognised by the World Health Organisation, is held every year on the 10th October. The theme for the day changes each year, and this year’s theme is ‘Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority’.
All week, schools across our Trust will be holding events, assemblies, discussions and doing their part to raise awareness of the issue.
We are proud to be supporting such an important initiative as World Mental Health Day again this year. As a Trust we believe in putting students first and this goes beyond the classroom for us. We want our students to leave us as well-rounded individuals who can play positive roles in our local community, as well as fulfilling their potential academically.
